CTET 2023 Admit Card: CBSE is all set to release the Admit Cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 on August 18. New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to unveil the admit cards for the upcoming Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) of July 2023. The test is scheduled for August 20, 2023. If you have successfully submitted your application form and paid the necessary fees, your admit card can be downloaded from CBSE’s official website: https://ctet.nic.in.

In a recent announcement, the CBSE has confirmed that admit cards will be provided to those who completed the application process and paid the admission fees between April 27, 2023, and May 26, 2023. The examination will be conducted offline and will follow an OMR-based format.

Instructions for Downloading CTET 2023 Admit Card

To obtain your CTET Admit Card, visit the official CBSE website, https://ctet.nic.in. Log in using your registered email ID and password. The admit card will contain information about your assigned examination center. Notably, due to the shift from online to offline mode, there have been changes in examination cities, based on the available centers.

Examination cities have been allocated to candidates according to the district information provided during online form submission. It’s important to note that requests for changes in examination city will not be accommodated.

About CTET 2023 Examination

The exam spans three hours and consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. The test is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2, catering to candidates interested in teaching different classes. Both papers hold a value of 150 marks, totalling 300.

For general category students, a minimum score of 90 out of 150 is required to pass, while reserved category students need a minimum of 92.5 marks out of 150. In terms of percentage, the pass mark is 60% for general candidates and 55% for those in the reserved categories. Successful candidates are granted a CTET Certificate with lifelong validity.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) assesses candidates aspiring to teach classes 1 to 8 in Central Government Schools like NVS/KVS and other educational institutions. The application process for this session commenced on April 27, 2023, with the final application submission date being May 26, 2023. The CTET Pre Admit Card 2023 was issued on August 1, followed by the primary admit card set to release on August 18. Anticipated results are projected to be declared by the end of September 2023.
